KIRA Project Sites Awarded Numerous PLANET Safety Accolades
KIRA has received the results of the company's 2010 PLANET Landscape Award Entries. The 2010 awards are based off the 2009 OSHA 300 numbers in conjunction with vehicle incident reports from Enterprise and Hartford.
Results of KIRA’s 2009 performance is as follows:
• Fort Carson, CO - Overall Safety Achievement – Gold Performance Level and No Vehicle Accidents
• Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL - Overall Safety Achievement – Silver
KIRA President, Chief Executive Officer and Owner named Most Influential Business Executive
Florida Trend, in their June edition, named Carlos Garcia, KIRA President/CEO and Owner as one of Florida's Most Influential Business Executives. Included in this list are executives for companies such as AutoNation and Raymond James.

KIRA named Top 500 Hispanic-owned Business
For the sixth year in a row, Hispanic Business Magazine has named KIRA one of the top 500 Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States. KIRA has been moving up the rankings during the past several years and now ranks #85. To be considered for the Top 500, which measures both performance and progress, you must be headquartered in the U.S. and ownership needs to be at least 51% Hispanic U.S. citizen. KIRA named Top 200 Private Company in Florida
KIRA has been named one of the Top 200 Private Companies in Florida by Florida Trend Magazine. In their June 2010 issue, "350 Heavy Hitters - The biggest companies in Florida - and the state's most influential business executives", the Top 150 Public Companies and Top 200 Private Companies were ranked by 2009 revenue.

KIRA Awarded Facilities Maintenance Contract for Eight Land Ports of Entry in New York
KIRA has been awarded a five-year, multi-million dollar contract to maintain eight Land Ports of Entry throughout northern New York. Full contract operations begin July 1, 2010.
